Wandering North Wellington
This is the Beehive, a seven-stepped truncated cone. I knew it when I saw it. It could only be the Beehive. It is next to Parliament and houses the Cabinet.
This is Lambton Quay, the pricier shopping district. The Cable Car seems quite covert - I couldn't find it. I walked back and forth along Lambton and the Terrace (which, as the name suggests, involved stairs and lots of them). I managed to only buy long-sleeved two tee shirts. I stopped in a bookstore and got the scoop on NZ comics: go back to Cuba St. But first, I rode the cable car, to get to the Botanical Gardens, where I officially went photo-crazy.
