The Wellington Botanical Gardens - Part I

Eventually, of course, I found them. They are immense and impressive. They contain native species, a specific Australia garden, a desert garden, a greenhouse with a begonia garden, an English-style rose garden, a New Zealand endangered plant garden, lots of birds, an Astronomical Observatory, a Henry Moore, a peace garden from the Japan society honouring NZ's anti-nuclear stance, an excellent café and undoubtedly much more.

Oh, I'm hungry. This is going to have to be a two-part series.
